The UniFi Switch Pro 8 PoE, with the manufacture part number USW-Pro-8-POE, is a highly capable and robust PoE switch from Ubiquiti. Designed to integrate seamlessly with Ubiquiti’s UniFi ecosystem, this switch offers advanced layer 3 capabilities and provides a reliable and efficient networking solution for small to medium-sized businesses, enterprise environments, and demanding home users.

This model is equipped with eight Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 ports and two 10G SFP+ ports, providing ample connectivity for high-speed networking demands. It features a total of eight Power over Ethernet ports, including six that support PoE/PoE+ and two that deliver up to 60W via PoE++ for high-power devices like PTZ cameras or high-performance wireless access points.

The switch delivers a total non-blocking throughput of 28 Gbps and a switching capacity of 56 Gbps, with a forwarding rate of 41.664 Gbps, ensuring that traffic is managed efficiently without congestion. The hardware is managed via an Ethernet In-Band interface, and network configurations can be easily monitored and adjusted through this accessible management setup.

Power is supplied through a universal AC input ranging from 100 to 240V, with the internal AC/DC power supply ensuring reliable operation. The maximum power consumption of the unit itself is 30W, excluding the power output for PoE. The switch has a total available PoE power budget of 120W, with maximum PoE wattage per port distributed as 15W for PoE, 30W for PoE+, and a robust 60W for PoE++ applications, adhering to various voltage ranges depending on the mode.

Operating conditions are optimized for environments with temperatures ranging from -5 to 45°C and humidity levels from 10% to 90% non-condensing, ensuring stable performance in a variety of climatic conditions. It is made from durable polycarbonate and metal, with measures 200 x 248 x 44 mm and weighs 2.1 kg, making it both sturdy and suitable for rack-mounting in a variety of environments. The UniFi Switch Pro 8 PoE also holds certifications from CE, FCC, and IC, affirming its compliance with international safety and operational standards.
