Ajax Tag

The Ajax Tag is an encrypted contactless access device for managing the security modes of the Ajax security system. Forget remembering complex codes or relying on your smartphone. The Ajax Tag lets you disarm your Ajax security system with a simple tap against the compatible KeyPad Plus. No need to remember passwords, open apps, or create user accounts. The Ajax Pass uses encrypted communication to ensure only authorized users can disarm the system.

Ajax Tag utilizes DESFire® technology, featuring 128-bit encryption to safeguard communication and prevent unauthorized access. This industry-standard ensures your security system remains protected. Each Ajax Tag is unique and cannot be copied, providing an extra layer of security for your home. A single Tag can be linked to up to 13 Ajax Hubs, offering versatile use within your smart security system. The maximum number of Tag devices connected to a hub depends on the hub model. At the same time, the Tag does not affect the total limit of devices on the hub.

The system administrator can remotely revoke or restrict access permissions for any Tag, ensuring complete control over your security. Assign individual usernames and set access permissions for each Ajax Tag through the Ajax app. When a Tag is bound to a user, arm and disarm events will be sent to the monitoring station with the user ID. If the device is not bound with the user, the hub will send the event with the device identifier.
