The siren is activated after the sensor (movement, opening) sends an alarm to the control panel - hub. And the hub, in turn, activates a light and sound detector. The Ajax StreetSiren wireless street siren runs on pre-installed batteries for up to 5 years.

The StreetSiren wireless siren connects to the smart hub via the secure Jeweler radio protocol. Communication range — up to 1300 m provided in case there are no obstacles. The detector's body is strong, a metal mesh protects the buzzer, and there is an autonomous power supply. The on/off button will be locked when the alarm is triggered. The street siren on the alarm system is equipped with the button of the tamper and the accelerometer. The tamper button responds to the opening of the detector housing and the accelerometer — when disassembling or moving the device.

The correct placement of the wireless siren depends on its distance from the hub (a high signal level) and the presence of obstacles that impair the passage of radio signals and sound between devices. It is necessary to mount a wireless street siren at the height of at least 2.5 for difficult accessibility. This rule of installing the sound detector helps avoid unauthorized dismantling by intruders. To avoid potential signal failure, maintain a minimum distance of 1 meter between the siren and the hub. For best performance, keep the siren away from metal objects or mirrors, that block radio waves.
