Enhanced Connectivity Features
The hAP ac lite is equipped with five 10/100Mbps Ethernet ports, each supporting data transfer rates of 10 or 100 megabits per second (Mbps). These ports serve as versatile connectors for various devices within your local network, ensuring seamless connectivity. Enhancing its capabilities, the hAP ac lite features PoE-Out on Port 5, allowing it to supply power to other PoE-compatible devices. This feature streamlines cabling and power distribution, making it ideal for powering devices like IP cameras. Additionally, the USB-A 2.0 port opens the door to external connectivity, specifically designed to support 3G or 4G modems.
The device further features Passive PoE Input, enabling power to be supplied either through the conventional power jack or seamlessly via a PoE injector. Passive Power over Ethernet (PoE) ensures a constant voltage delivery, enhancing the efficiency of power and data transmission through the same Ethernet cable.
