Versatile Design
The EP-24V-72W features a durable, industrial-grade build, designed to withstand various environmental conditions. It is equipped with two 10/100 MbE RJ45 ports that not only facilitate robust connectivity but also provide 24V DC passive PoE output, suitable for powering PoE-compatible network devices directly. The maximum power output of the EP-24V-72W is 72 watts with a direct current output of 24V, 3A, ensuring ample power for connected devices. The system itself consumes just 2W, highlighting its efficiency. It features sophisticated power management capabilities to optimize the distribution and usage of power.
UPS for WISP
You can receive alerts in the event of a power outage. Moreover, the unit supports a universal AC input ranging from 100-240V AC at 50-60 Hz, and also includes a DC terminal block for alternative power configurations. The power supply can be connected to a 12V DC lead-acid battery, offering a backup power solution to ensure uninterrupted operation. Note that the battery is not included, and it is advised to use only lead-acid type batteries to avoid hazards.
WISP Site Example
EdgePower 24V 72W provides WISPs with an easy-to-install 24V redundant power supply that includes a management user interface and simple 12V battery backup charger with multiple 24V outputs for small sites. This power supply is equipped with superior ESD/EMP protection, rated at Air: ±12kV and Contact: ±12kV, safeguarding against electrostatic discharges and ensuring the longevity and reliability of both the power supply and connected devices. Overcurrent, overvoltage, and short-circuit protections are also integral to its design, enhancing the safety of your network setup.
Management Flexibility
Designed for convenient management, the EdgePower allows you to configure and monitor PSU features in a graphical user interface. You can also use UNMS (Ubiquiti® Network Management System) for remote management, and SNMP is available to monitor the EdgePower for issues that warrant attention. In addition, This model includes LEDs for system status and for each RJ45 data port, indicating PoE, link, and activity status, which helps in monitoring and managing the power supply through Ethernet In-Band management interface.
